Acne

Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a long-term  skin condition that occurs when dead skin cells and oils from the sebaceous glands clog hair follicles.  Acne can be a hereditary skin condition or even a Hormonal imbalance within the body   Acne can affect many skin types including oily skin. Bacteria can trigger inflammatory and infection resulting in more severe acne. Acne can affect many people of all ages.

Acne can develop on the Face, Chest and back.
SYMPTOMS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF SKIN ACNE
Papules – small red bumps that may feel tender or sore
Pustules – like papules, but have a white tip in the centre, caused by a build-up of pus
Nodules – large hard lumps that build up beneath the surface of the skin and can be painful
Cysts – the most severe type of spot caused by acne; they're large pus-filled lumps that look similar to boils and carry the greatest risk of causing permanent scarring and skin infection

Although not Acne Blackheads and whiteheads are also visible on many different skin types. They occur when pores on the skin become clogged with dead skin cells, oil, or bacteria. A blocked pore that stays open forms a blackhead. If a blocked pore closes a whitehead will develop.
